Anheuser-Busch Renews Sponsorship of PGA TOUR.

Michelob Family of Beers to Replace Michelob ULTRA as Official Beer Sponsor

February 13, 2008

ST. LOUIS (Feb. 13, 2008) – The PGA TOUR and Anheuser-Busch today announced a new three-year deal that will extend a relationship that has been in place since 1994.

Under the terms of the new deal, the Michelob Family of Beers – led by premium lager Michelob and light lager Michelob Light – replaces Anheuser-Busch’s Michelob ULTRA light lager brand as the official beer sponsor of the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour. O’Douls remains the official non alcohol brew sponsor of both circuits.

“This is an extension of a relationship that we obviously value and have for the past 14 seasons,” said Tony Ponturo, vice president, global media and sports marketing, Anheuser-Busch, Inc. “It comes at a perfect time. Alignment with the PGA TOUR is an opportunity to talk to consumers who are attuned to the heritage, quality and consistency the Michelob Family of Beers represents.”

The deal will include the Michelob Family of Beers’ support of local tournaments as well as media within national broadcasts.

Long regarded as the connoisseur’s beer, Michelob has built a considerable history of craft beer credentials since its 1896 introduction. Several new beer styles, including the award-winning lager AmberBock, German-style Marzen and Bavarian-Style Wheat, have joined the family to give adults a range of choices, making it a great match for the excitement and variety of the PGA TOUR.

Michelob ULTRA will continue as the official beer of the LPGA Tour.
